UCPB GEN held its annual Agents Thanksgiving Night last January 30, 2009 at the Executive Dining Room of the UCPB Building. The company's hundreds of agents not only from Metro Manila and nearby areas such as Binan and Batangas but also from the distant areas of Cabanatuan, Dau, Dagupan, Olongapo, and even Naga graced the event.
UCPB GEN employees, dressed in colorful Hawaiian outfits and with the promise of an interesting night, warmly welcomed the guests. Mr. Eric Marasigan, Head of the Batangas Branch, and Mr. Oyi Tejada of Brokers Servicing hosted the program. Ms. Janet Tarrayo led the thanksgiving prayer.
Mr. Isabelo P. Africa, UCPB GEN President, delivered the opening remarks.
Mr. Joel Z. Belardo, Property Underwriter and Head of Brokers Servicing, re-launched the enhanced Home Excel Protect. He emphasized on the new deal about the package especially the improved benefits and coverage.
The main highlight of the program was the launching of the 2009 Roundabout, the producers incentive promo for this year. This commenced with a lovely modern Hawaiian dance number and a two-minute introductory video presentation for three exciting destinations. There were much enthusiasm from the crowd especially when Mr. Edgardo D. Rosario, Senior Vice President for Marketing, presented the mechanics of the promo. Qualified agents gets the chance to choose between a trip to Hawaii or the trip to two local destinations, Antulang Beach Resort and Pearl Farm.
The first destination, Antulang Beach Resort in Dumaguete, is offered for every P2 Million paid premiums for the period January to June 2009. A trip to Pearl Farm in Davao on the other hand is offered for every P3.5 Million paid premiums from July to December 2009. Lastly, every P7.5 Million paid premiums from January 1 to December 31 2009 entitles an agent to a trip to Hawaii!
Likewise, new and sophomore agents, are entitled to a coupon to The Farm at San Benito, for every P200,000 paid premium for the period February to April 2009.
